Gym Leaders 5-8

Personal Project time! These gals are the leaders of four of the 8 gyms in the region. I'll describe them below!

Mingxia is a member of a rebellion in her city, a city that is separated from the rest of the region by a large channel of water, and international borders. The elite of her city are corrupt, the poor crawl in neglected squalor, and the rich enjoy any pleasure and luxury they can name. When you first meet Mingxia, you do in the form of the match seller. If you extend kindness towards her then, she'll reveal herself and deem you worthy for an invitation to her gym!

This is the pop idol Nise and her manager Shina! Nise is a big ball of energy and always performs while battling with her pokemon. She’s a pop idol psychic type trainer that’s taken the region by storm. In truth, Nise is nothing more that a projection of Shina’s pokemon, a mask she speaks through to mitigate her crippling social anxiety and body issues. Her skill and passion for raising powerful pokemon is there, but she only really feels comfortable facing her opponent from behind the avatar of Nise-chan. She was once terrified of the thought of being a gym leader, but if everyone thinks Nise is real, she wont have to face her fear.

To some, Véronique may be the alluring mysterious stranger; with her eyes closed, breathing in the ocean air. To others, she’s the next challenge in mastering the art of Pokemon battling! On one side, she acknowledges the ocean’s infinite mystery, its lethal potential, its depth and its danger. On the other, the marvels at its beauty, grandeur, and importance. Her graceful and powerful pokemon will crush you like a wave. With both emmense offense and impenetrable defense, her opponents will face a challenge as grand as the ocean.

Maya runs a league for the Pokemon TCG within the actual Pokemon Universe. She and her Gardevoir teach new players how to play the game, and organize events and competitions. Maya had a lonely childhood, until she discovered the game and met some of her best friends through it. She wants to extend that opportunity to other kids who don't have many positive role models or hobbies. However, she Also serves as a gym leader in her region, but to compete with her, your pokemon are turned into trading cards with her Gardevoir's Fairy magic! Will a deck constructed with the pokemon and items you have in your party have enough synergy to beat her fairy-themed deck?
